barong lamp

← newer: galactic final memory

older: ceritera lamp ii →

A colour-cycling lamp using laser-cut materials and Arduino-controlled addressable LED strips. This lamp was a collaboration between myself and Andieta Octaria. I constructed the frame and programmed the lighting; Andieta designed the laser-cut patterns. One pattern is a mythical creature - a Barong - and the other is a batik motif called Kawung.

Exhibited in UNSW Galleries, August 2015.
